Oh, dear sweet Mother...

To quote clinical therapist Dr. Wendy Mogel:
"It is Our Job to get ready Our Own Children for the Road..., &
Not create the road for Our Youngsters..."

...why am I so gullible to trust all of the their garbly goop? Why am I a sucker for this behavior?


Tonight Lilia shows to me "Mom, in the olden days, did you will need to wear seat belts?” I was having flash backs of saying that sentence “olden days” to my awesome parents. After I regained my composure from shock of staying connected to the olden days, I began chuckling and I replied to her “No, we could not wear seat belts with further, we were basically like monkeys traveling around in the back seats of the car.” She shouts out “awe Mum, that is soooooo not fair!” I say to her, “yeah, I am aware, it’s amazing we lasted and be prepared…life might be not reasonable!”

I never thought I would say this phrase... but with age, the reality has come to surface. I am sure some of you can relate...
